J-Hawks Keep Rolling with Win Over Colstrip

In their second season of playing 11 man football, the J-Hawks are proving that they deserve to be there. With a 6-1 record and the fifth largest point differential in Class B, Joliet is having an outstanding season.

In Thursdays game against Colstrip, Junior Jake Cook continued his rushing dominance with 11 rushes for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns, as well as an interception return for a touchdown.

The J-Hawks were also bolstered by standout Senior Kaden Juhnke on both sides of the ball with 1 rushing TD and 1 TD, 7 PATs and 4 tackles. Cook and Sophomore Mason McQuillan also shared in leading tackles for the team, both with 4 each.

Important game coming up this Friday, October 25 for the J-Hawks, 7pm, at Joliet. A win over Huntley Project secures home field advantage in the playoffs and a matchup with the winner of Jefferson - Townsend. A loss would give the J-Hawks an away matchup with the three seed from the South division.
