The Lockwood Invitational presented strong competition from AA Bozeman, many A schools, as well as B/C powerhouses Huntley Project and Harlowton, among others.

It is a fun tradition for Montana Speech and Drama finalists to carry a team mascot to the stage for awards ceremonies. The team welcomed "Dobby" for his debut at Lockwood to much applause.

The entire team will be presenting their pieces on Monday evening at 630pm at the Joliet Community Center. The event is sponsored by the Joliet Lion's Club which will be providing refreshments and cookies to spectators.

This will be the team's last chance to practice their skills publicly before competing at Divisionals at Manhattan High School, Saturday, January 25.
