J-Hawk Football Wins Over Thompson Falls

J-Hawk football earned the win on the road, Friday, against Thompson Falls, at Naranche Stadium, in Butte. It was a hard fought game that ended with a sack by Junior Kyler Lind and a final score of 23-14.

Earlier in the game, Juniors Roree Ward and Trystan Knight also earned their first sacks of the season, contributing to a strong defense that held Thompson Falls to just one touchdown in each of the second and third quarters.

Senior QB Kaden Juhnke continues to perform for the J-Hawks with 88 passing yards, 28 rushing yards, a touchdown and three PATs. Junior RB, Jake Cook, is also continuing to shine with 124 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.


Helping to hold the Blue Hawks, was a long list of defensive players. Knight led the team in tackles, with 6. Followed by Juhnke and Junior Gavin Thompson with five each. McQuillan and Cook also contributed 4 tackles a piece.

J-Hawks are headed out for their third road game in a row this week. They will play Baker on Friday at 7pm.
