A well-attended session of Coffee with Clark led to some uncomfortable exchanges and no real answers. Parents attended the meeting to find out information about the items on the agenda for the September Board meeting that evening and to voice concerns.
Among the concerns were a lack of communication concerning middle school student council, as well as scholarship and financial mishaps. Attendees were also questioning the school's financial responsibility for the gas and fiber optic lines that were struck by the contractor. There was quite a bit of discussion concerning the proposed assistant business manager position as well as the MT Advanced Opportunities grant and AP testing fees issue.
By the end of the meeting, the Superintendent seemed to shut down and was no longer answering questions. Leaving attendees with more questions than answers and seemingly more frustrated than when they walked in the door.
Later on in the day, the Facilities Committee completed a walk through of the exterior grounds and viewed the modulars. There are some concerns with the sloping of the ground behind the modular that will need to be addressed and they are working on the issue of students getting locked out of the main building. Otherwise, teachers and students seem to be settling in nicely.
The attached notes cover a lot of ground. A majority are from the Coffee session. After the intense discussions at coffee, the exterior walk through and Board meeting where very light.

Below are my notes from both meetings. My comments are highlighted and italicized.
